homeownership

What happens before you are handed the keys to your brand new home?

There are four distinct processes that follow before you are finally handed the keys to your new home:

  1. Purchaser inspection process
  2. Bank inspection process
  3. Bank payment
  4. Handover and occupation

1. Purchaser inspection process:

Upon completion you will inspect your property to ensure there are no visible defects. If you are satisfied with the condition of your property, you will be asked to sign a letter of completion (LOC).

2. Bank inspection process:

Then we submit that LOC along with the structural completion certificate, electrical certificate and occupancy certificate to the bank who will then do an inspection of the house.

3. Bank payment

Then we submit that LOC along with the structural completion certificate, electrical certificate and occupancy certificate to the bank who will then do an inspection of the house.

4. Handover and occupation

Then we submit that LOC along with the structural completion certificate, electrical certificate and occupancy certificate to the bank who will then do an inspection of the house.
